response # 3
In something like america, i gain insighgt on how people who are homeless are treated. From the point of being ran off in the late hours of the night. To the sense of a brother hood when the reds met up with the main charaters in the very beginning. Also how i could easily end up on the street just like the upper middle class mother of two the main charaters met in a chow line. throught this piece their is a certain resiliency carried by these homeless people to keep them smiling and doing what is nessacary for survival weather it involes running from the cops or making new friends.

RESPONSE 2
In the virtual article on the web site I was enlighten by the present time genocide. From the one in Bosnia where Serbian paramilitary leader Zeljko Raznatovic, known as Arkan, who was known for being brutal and commanded the army known as the Tigers in the early 1990’s. I can believe how people could be brain washed to think their better than the next person. Mostly since then conflicts involving the Tigers expanded to Kosovo in 1991. Also how their methods mirrored those of Nazis’ by public mass killings, and house raids in broad day light. This militant group was responsible for more than the 8,000 reported deaths. Easily the biggest killing after world two, with their view of genocide aimed at the Bosniak civilians.
Things like this are unacceptable in today’s world. Just like technology the mind set of people in any country should be able to grow and develop. To bring change to better the world for the next generation, since useless killing only yields the product of dead bodies, broken families, and more killing. Which everyone knows there is too much of already today, from the current war on terror between the U.S. and the Middle East. Also the conflict of the North Korean army preparing for a war that the world hopes doesn’t happen.
Even in Africa genocide can be felt in Sudan. Just like with Rome if we don’t embrace the use of technology to spread peace instead of war the relationships between countries will collapse. Triggering and all out war that could be prevented only if enough people listen and understand how precious living everyday is and should count days as a blessing. Yet people across the world continue to have out of balance morals and values. Which only perpetuate more violence around the world.
